Exide Life Insurance had a manual candidate onboarding system in place with was a laborious process
- The process involved manual form filling, scanning, data entry, and data correction, creating an inefficient transfer of candidate information across systems.
- During the onboarding process, the candidates were asked to fill a form of 10 to 15 pages where they have to keep repeating their name & address in all the forms (Form F, Gratuity, Medi claim, etc).
- Candidates had to sign all the pages individually which again a cause for poor onboarding experience.
- Maintaining all onboarding related papers was risky & challenging.

A mobile app which can be downloaded by any candidate, using their phone number(the number should be registered in the Digidesk system) they can login & fill the required details through the mobile app. Also, the candidates can upload their certificates and other documents. All details filled in the mobile app will be seamlessly displayed in the admin web portal for validation checks. Post validation any time the executives can generate a digital form – A form with pre-filled candidates data with photo & signature.
